Away with the Fairies
28 Jun 2003Milling aimlessly around The Glade, I bump into three luscious ladies of a certain age. Two of them are dressed in beautifully detailed fairy costumes - one fairy clutches a magic wand with a flashing red light at its tip.
The third member of the party wears shades and a black bomber jacket. She turns round to reveal "FAIRY SECURITY" picked out in sequins on its back.
The fairies are far from sober, and Fairy Security girl has a 10-minute mission to perform. So she appoints me honorary Fairy Security until her return. I feel as though I have done my good deed for the day - surely some benefit would ensue from minding fairies?
