Cinema Field

This information relates to Glastonbury Festival 2003

Welcome to the cinema field. No festival is complete without an all night open air cinema, no sitting in stuffy crammed tents watching grainy dim videos on postage stamp screens. Plenty of room for all and best of all, it's free! Once again we have some cine matic treats in store from the last twelve months, with the likes of Doni Darko, LOTR Two Towers, XXX and many many more.

We will be using 35mm film projection with state of the art Dolby digital sound as always, in conjunction with the giant Inflatable screen which worked out really well in 2002. If you're planning to stay for all the films I recommend you bring a sleeping bag or at least warm clothing as it can turn very cold after midnight. Don’t be tempted to bring wax flairs into the cinema area, one or two do no harm but when every one has them its surprising how much light they produce, which spoils the film for everyone. If you're interested in film projection or have any questions, please stop by for a chat.
