Welcome to the Pyramid

This information relates to Glastonbury Festival 2003

Hello! Welcome to the Pyramid stage! Take a grass. Pull up a blade.

This is where you're going to see the highest profile acts on the bill. In reality, it's the acts that have cost us the most money and who's agents have been insistent that any stage other than Pyramid is out of the question... That's not to say your band is any better than any of the others, just more important. Or is that impotent? We keep getting the two mixed up. Ah well.

So come along. This year Radiohead will be topping the bill, back for the first time since their unforgettable 1997 appearance and just in time for a new album release, along with REM who treated us to a memorable performance in 1999. But forget who's REALLY playing, it's the rumours that get us. Dolly Parton, we ask you!! Anyway, that's Pyramid. Don't spend too long there though, there's lots of other interesting things to see. But we'll definitely see you on Saturday night when Radiohead are on.

Well, more than likely, maybe…
