Unfortunately, as the law stands it is not possible to have a legal marriage at the Festival. The Festival is not a licensed place. Until the law changes and permits a licenced person to approve a place, that legally binding wedding under a favourite tree will have to wait.
Blissful couples can get the Glastonbury blessings, in the form of weird weddings at Lost Vagueness. Best to book in advance with [email protected] and ask any questions or make special requests.
Also, in conjunction with The Guardian there are strange and wonderful 'marriages' in the Greenpeace Field, book as soon as you get on site.
Handfasting ceremonies can still be organised in the Tipi Field and within the Stone Circle.
