Separate fields for ticket holders to park campervans and caravans are available adjacent to the Festival site. This designated area of the site is the only place where ticket holders can sleep in vehicles – and these vehicles will only be allowed in the fields if they have living accommodation with fitted sleeping facilities and either fitted cooking or washing facilities.
• The caravan and campervan fields will be on the East of the site and will be surrounded by steel shield fencing and patrolled by security staff. Facilities provided include water, waste-water containers, toilets and a food trader (open 24 hours per day). There will be no electricity available.
• Tickets to park in these fields are available for an additional fee of £40, provided you purchase weekend tickets for the Festival at the same time. Every person entering the campervan fields will require a Festival weekend ticket which will be sold online and through the Festival telephone ticket line. The Festival ticket agency will also be the sales outlet for tickets for caravans/ campervans/ trailer tents.
• The only access to the campervan fields is via the Blue Route, along Pylle Road from the A37. A windscreen routing sticker will be sent to you with your campervan ticket, which will allow access to the Blue Route and to park in the fields.
• There will be a new team of campsite staff and security staff checking all vehicles to the campervan fields to ensure only vehicles that provide bona fide living accommodation are allowed entry. Drivers of any unsuitable vehicles, including unconverted vans, who have purchased a ticket for the camper van fields will be refused entry, and referred to alternative car parking – and, as it is contrary to our licence, security patrols will not permit sleeping in any vehicles in car parks.
• The security staff will also check for any items not permitted on site, as specified in the terms and conditions on weekend tickets. Security staff will confiscate any such items and may refuse entry to the site. The decision of the security team will be final.
• Manufacturers’ campervans and caravans will have access to the fields. Any converted vehicles must clearly be live-in vehicles with purpose built sleeping and washing facilities. The field security team will make the final decisions about the suitability of vehicles.
• Manufacturers’ trailer tents will be permitted in the campervan fields.
• A caravan/campervan ticket allows the holder to park in a 6m x 6m pitch. The Somerset Fire Service has agreed that either a campervan or a caravan may be parked in each 6m X 6m pitch - and tents may be erected in the pitch, as long as vehicles are a minimum of 3m apart. Vehicles will not be separated from caravans but will be required to unhitch and will be parked adjacent to the caravan. Caravans and campervans will be parked in seperate rows. It is essential that the fire safety guidelines are adhered to and that the campsite managers’instructions are followed.
• The Festival does not rent caravans to ticket holders, or have any arrangements with contractors to rent caravans to ticket holders. If ticket holders arrange privately to rent a caravan, it can be sited in these fields. The ticket holder will need to purchase a campervan ticket with their Festival ticket and ensure that the contractor renting the caravan is given this campervan ticket and routing sticker for the fields. The contractor will then need to arrange access to the fields by contacting the Off-Site Manager through the Festival Site Office. The ticket holder will need to arrive at the Festival by public transport or purchase a car park ticket for the public car parks so that they can gain access to the site themselves.
