Click here for the application form...Michael Eavis announced in December that the Festival is going to hold a competition for musicians, with winners being offered a chance to play on one of the main stages at Glastonbury Festival 2004.

At times in the past the Festival has been overwhelmed with the number of music demos from performers hoping to play at the Festival. Sadly it is not always possible to listen to all of them or arrange a slot for them even at one of the smaller venues. This competition is a unique opportunity for new and emerging acts to showcase their talent.

The Competition is open to all performers, be they solo artists or bands. Winners will get one of the reserved slots on the Acoustic Stage, the Dance Tent, the New Tent, or the World Stage, with the overall winner appearing on the Other Stage. Download the application form with the competition rules here. The deadline for entries will be 1st March 2004.
