In 1995 to celebrate the existence of 25 years of the Glastonbury Festival a special publication was created. It's full colour, magazine format, 44 pages long, edited by Campbell Stephenson and it's a great thing to own if you have an interest in the festival's history. It's got some great contributions from people who have been there since the very beginning and it includes many excellent vintage photographs. But best of all a few boxes have recently turned up whilst tidying after the festival and you have a limited chance to buy a copy.

You should, of course, never judge a book by it's cover. So below there is a scan of not only the cover, but also some of the inside pages too!

This is how it describes itself:

There is an undeniable 'Glastonbury spirit' which takes hold for these three (or so) days in June. On these pages Michael Eavis, Billy Bragg, Atilla The Stockbroker, Mike Scott, Peter Gabriel and many others give their view on what that spirit is. But it is encapsulated in this letter received at worthy farm after last year's (94) festival.

"My bus burnt down at 4am on Sunday morning last year. I'd lost everything, apart from the towel around my waist.

But my spirit lifted a few days later when I was given about £475 which had been collected by generous souls amoung the litter crew, the travellers and the Green fields. I can never hope to ever know or thank these strangers in person. So I'd like to say a big thank you through these pages. At a time when I hit rock bottom, their touch of kindness did more for my healing than anything else."

So sold to the man in the festi hat?

Excellent.
