It's jo and danny

This page is provided only for information, it does not apply to the 2002 festival.
It's Jo and Danny and by the look of it they're not alone. Jo, who handles guitar and lead vocals, is joined by Danny who hops from keyboard to bass to melodica to harmonica. Add a DJ, trumpet player, additional guitarist and drummer to the mix and all ideas of a pared down acoustic duo go out the window. Sound confusing? Surprisingly not.
It's Jo and Danny manage to pull off a coherent set which despite the array of instruments and equipment at hand isn't overbearing. Instead they treat the largely horizontal crowd to a little acoustic pop that rocks.
If anything is slightly amiss it's superfluous samples at the beginning and end of certain songs. Some might say that adds to the charm, but if you want to decide for yourself check their debut album Lank Haired Girl to Bearded Boy. Ila Couch-Coleman
