Outside Theatre Stage
This page is provided only for information, it does not apply to the 2002 festival.
The Outside Theatre Stage opens each morning at 10.30 a.m. with a wild band and hosts theatre, dance and mime performers late into the night. Acts booked so far include Planet Banana, Theatre Hop and Booper the Clown.
In the top right hand corner of Glebeland you will find Anne Harris' amazing inflatable structures - cones, phoenix pyramid, dragon and more. These will be beautifully illuminated at night. Anne and Parachute Theatre Company are working together to present a 4-piece performance based on the four elements which will take place here each day, with the fire section (enhanced by drummers and the Festival Fire Swingers) each night.
Lots of ground circle shows in this field from street performers from around the world including Miss Minnetti from Holland, Professor Spoon from Australia and Mr. and Mrs. Sideways from New Zealand. Also an amazing illuminated "Hand of Glass" from Australias Temple State Installation
company, and a unique and bizarre "Suitcase Collection" from Fanny Mas.
