 Wisely ...
Considerately and wisely
Illegal drugs are no more legal on site than off, and the police are onsite, some plain clothed, others less so. Consider this: drug money directly funds the nasty people - do you really want to be doing so?
If you are foolish enough to experiment with drugs, this really isn't the place to start. It is the road to nowhere. If you react badly, the crowds and the sheer size of the Festival can be very frightening indeed.
Drunkenness is at the very least antisocial. Drug/alcohol cocktails can be lethal.
Prolonged exposure to high volume noise can cause severe hearing damage. Serious sunburn or cancer can be caused by the sun on unprotected skin and you run a high risk pregnancy and/or infection from unprotected sex.
It has taken several million years to evolve your precious body, so please look after it.
If a swelling crowd develops avoid adding to it. Listen and take notice of announcements which offer alternative routes away from a potential build-up of people. Lay back for a while to allow the exodus to subside.
The Festival is an unhurried experience, to be savoured. Be patient.
Neither antisocial or illegal behaviour will be tolerated: ejection without possible return will be the outcome, possibly via the Police. This can be widely interpreted.
The Police's Glastonbury website has some (surprising un-patronising!) good info on drugs ... click here.
