Sound Precautions
The wandering campsite wardens and security teams are looking out for dangerous fires, accidents and risky situations - please help them and use them. If you are unlucky enough to be a victim of crime, report it to the Police HQ, who can give you a crime record for insurance purposes.
Tents are very vulnerable, even zipped up.
Padlocks are invitations.
Sad persons who try to steal will find it harder if you take some basic precautions:
postcode your valuables and be inventive about hiding your money. Spread it around.
Remember to bring vital medications and keep them with you.
Only come with the keys that you are likely to be using, just in case they get lost.
Property Lock-ups
Essential valuables can be left at the free, 24 hour, Property Lock-Ups which are prominent around the site. They also sell cheap loo rolls and soap. Make contact with your neighbours and encourage a community feeling to provide greater security and Festival spirit.
Only bring what you can afford to lose ...
