 Best Presented Stall
|
This year the award for Best Presented Stall went to the Tiny Tea Tent. Based at its regular pitch in section M1/01 the Tiny Tea Tent has been providing Glastonbury goers with much needed refreshment every festival year since 1992.
Judges, who were looking for stalls that were in-keeping with the Glastonbury ambience, were particularly impressed with the wood and clay sculptures which decorated the pitch.
Tiny Tea Tent boss Adam was as delighted as he was taken aback with the first prize, which consisted of a certificate marking the achievement, a crate of wine, £100 in cash and a reduced rate for the pitch next time. "It's a really nice surprise, especially as it's our tenth anniversary." He beamed. All teas, coffees and hot chocolates at the stall are organic. Moreover, many of the cakes are also baked on site.

Also commended were La Grande Bouffe (in their first festival appearance), Elfred's Mexican Cantina (who were also commended last time out) and Absolutely Fabulous Vegetarian.
