Before setting off festival goers can also take advantage of the 277 text service and 177 information line to check out all the latest festival news, listen to exclusive messages from some of the festival's top acts, as well as keep track of the weather and traffic conditions over the weekend. Expect backstage gossip and festival highlights too. Text messages are charged at 12p each whilst calls cost 40p per minute. Festival goers should be ensured coverage as orange is provising extra masts and boosters that will allow 1,900 calls to be made simultaneously at Glastonbury. On site, Orange will also be providing an interactive Recharge Zone where all mobile users will be able to rapidly recharge their phones for free. There will also be Ringtone and Logo Pods with exclusives from festival acts and Orange Music Pods which allow you to take digital pictures at the festival and send them to all your friends who didn't get a ticket. Orange will also be installing the ultimate festival tool - Text Message Boards - send a message to these giant boards and you have an ideal way to track down any lost friends or show your appreciation of the bands.
