 No Ticket No Festival
|
If you are coming to Glastonbury Festival this June then you must have a ticket.
Non ticket holders have been able to come in the past and get in. This however will no longer be the case.
After the prosecution of Michael Eavis due to numbers of people on site the licesne has become conditional in future on there being no more extra people on site. If large numbers of people get in over the fence Mendip District Council will not issue a license for the festival in future. This means 2002 will be our last. All at the festival certainly hope that won't happen. If you come without a ticket you are only guarenteed a miserable and dissapointing time.
Also if the festival is cancelled, not only will the festival goers lose out but so will the charities who use the moeny generated for good casues to very good effect.
Security will be dramatically increased to stop people getting in over the new much higher and harder to climb fence.
