All the bands that Alfie like have never sold vast amounts - Nick Drake, Sea and Cake (Lee's fav of last year), Jim O'Rourke, Smog.

If Alfie really want to become the next Starsailor then it will be a big shame, and it looks like their TN debut will be their best and only original album.

: I can't understand why people think alfie will be a massive band, the music industry isn't going to change suddenly and alfie aren't suddenly going to become flavour of the month like Coldplay, because they make music that appeals to a minority. The music scene now is similar to what it was in 1989, where band's like the Stone Roses released classic after classic, and were bought by a few students.
: If their manager reckons they'll do better on a major label, then all power to them!
