dear dear. I really don't mean this to sound like it is undermining the true power of Alfred. However...Although it was, indeed, very nice to see them on tv i have a few concerns involving the almighty:
1) Why oh why did they speed up the tempo of the song/ sing it completely differently to Gork Flaps usual swaggerish styleeee? (although, admittedly, is good to have wee variations here and there, and the ending was superb)
2) Why cover a song? I’m sure they can really do better than that. are the whispers in my ear at night true? Are they craving more radio play? More exposure? More (goddamn it) commercial success, similar to their peers Starsailor?
