Acoustic Stage - Saturday

One of the great things about Glastonbury's Acoustic Tents is the diversity of acts that perform there.

Canadian Singer/Songwriter Kathleen Edwards was new to me, but is now a name, and indeed a voice, that I will remember.

She is whimsical, charming and utterly relaxed on stage as she talks to the crowd as if they were old friends catching up over coffee.

Her music is good, solid stuff from the same page as perhaps Susan Vega or Lucinda Williams. Lyrically she sings of love lost and found and Canada's national obsession... hockey!

Edwards’s set is Laid-Back, Intimate and Earnest.

Look out for her acclaimed debut album Failer released earlier this year.
